Another milestone

Published by brian under Team News

This one has been a long time coming. About a year ago, I said we would break into the top 100 teams at MalariaControl.net, but we had a drop off in crunching shortly after. Well, earlier this week we finally did it. Last I checked we were #97 in total credit, and even better, we are #9 in recent average credit, so I see us climbing steadily for awhile now. Good job guys and keep up the good work.

Milestone!

Published by brian under Team News

Today we topped 1,000,000 points. Nice going and keep up the good work. As for MalariaControl, it looks like things are starting to ramp back up. In fact, our team recent average credit currently ranks 3rd. I hope to see us break into the top 100 on the project soon.

Boinc Project Outages

Published by Erik under BOINC News

Happy New Year from Team Educate@Home!

From December 10, 2008, the malariacontrol.net project will be experiencing some workunit outages on any PC’s that are being used to crunch for that project.  If you haven’t done so already, please attach your Boinc Client to at least one other different project so your computer can still crunch away.

There was a notice about this under the malariacontrol.net project inside of the Boinc client.  If you want to see that message please click here.   It is from malariacontrol.net’s forum.  It can also be accessed from their homepage malariacontrol.net

Happy crunching!

New Project

Published by brian under Team News

I’ve been waiting for months for the Hydrogen@Home project to open up enrollment. Well, they finally have and I’ve joined, so if you’re interested, feel free to join me. Just don’t forget to join the team as well.

Month In Review 02.08

Published by brian under Team News

Well, February was a good month overall, even though we didn’t get the second new team member. As a team, we continue to climb the BOINC rankings and about a week ago we started climbing into uncharted territory. We broke into the top 14000! We are on pace to break the top 100 on MalariaControl by the end of May.

I’ve offered goals for the past two months, but I think it’s someone else’s turn. Anyone have a goal we should strive for this month?

Team Update 2008.02.26

Published by brian under Team News

Thanks to a new team member earlier in the month, things are going very well for us. We are well on our way to the top 100 on MalariaControl and we are coming closer every day to setting a new team daily record. The past two days have been the 5th highest total we’ve ever had and today we were only 8 point away from hitting our 4th best. Great job!

Remember though, I was hoping to add 2 new members before the end of the month, so we still need one more and we’ve only got 3 days left.

Keep it up

Published by brian under Team News

We’re getting very close to breaking into our top 5 scoring days. Keep up the good work and don’t forget to bring in new members if you can. I expect we’ll break our top 5 for Malaria and overall BOINC before the end of the month.

One down, one to go

Published by brian under Team News

I would like to welcome Erik Hauser as our newest member. His first project is Malaria Control, but I’m sure he’ll be branching out soon. Since I set a goal for two new team members for the month, we’re half way there. We still have two weeks left, so let’s see what we can do.

On a side note, since we’re growing, I want to add a blogroll of our personal pages. If you’d like to have yours included, feel free to send me the address.
